How It Works

We support low-income senior women living in private or subsidized housing by providing rent assistance that helps them remain safe, housed, and independent. Through grant funding, we partner with community-based social workers and organizations to identify senior women in need and deliver timely financial support to prevent housing instability.

Essentials for Senior Women

Many senior women living in Medicaid-funded nursing homes lack access to basic personal care items that support their dignity and well-being. These facilities often have limited funding and resources, leaving residents without essentials like toiletries, undergarments, and comfort items.

How It Works

Celebrate for Good helps fill the gap by collecting and distributing essential items to senior women in nursing homes in the Raleigh-Durham area. Through the support of donors and volunteers, we ensure senior women receive the basic essentials they need to feel clean, comfortable, and cared for.
